tone control for Companion® 2 Series III

am considering buying

Companion® 2 Series III speakers for my computer.

Is the tone, treble and bass, adjustable for this speaker?

Bose product name

(Quiet Comfort Earbuds, NC700, Portable Home Speaker, etc.)

Country

Firmware Version

(1.0.7, 4.8.1, 1.7.0, etc.)

App Version

(4.1.1, 13.0.2, etc.)

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on

(Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

Where do you run into the issue?

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Re: tone control for Companion® 2 Series III

Hello maintman18,

Thanks for your question.

The Companion 2 III features a simple volume control dial. There is nothing in the way of hardware-based EQ control. You may, however, use software-based third party EQ solutions to adjust bass and treble.

I hope this helps!

Use the audio cable to make this connection. Insert the stereo mini plug at one end of the cable into the mini audio out jack on your computer. Insert the two plugs at the other end of the cable into one pair of the AUDIO INPUT connectors on the right speaker.
