Bose L1 model 1

Hello everyone. I am new to the L1 family but I am really enjoying it. I am a singer/songwriter and looking into the L1 model 1. My question is for practicing purposes at home, can the L1 model 1 be used with one of the pillars only? Thanks for the input.

Yes, you can use the L1 Model I without the top section of the Cylindrical Radiator®.  We have an article about that here:

Is it the L1 or the L1 compact? With the compact you have 3 options. Leave the speaker part in the bottom part (amp), or use 1 extension or both extensions.
