i have two L1 MKII with B2 systems and I like to keep them pristine.
the L1 towers I place in Peli 1750 cases purchased second hand,
The B2 bass bins worry me when being carried by people willing to lend a hand.
with this fear of damage to the grills in mind I made some protective inserts for the cloth cover that comes either the B2.
I bout a six foot child’s play mat and cut it into 3 pieces each to the same dimension as the front grill. The mats are 8 - 10mm thick and quite dense.
These I glued into the protective covers and they near slide over the bins and can absorb knocks going through tight spaces.
I made 3 as another local artist wanted one so I gave him the third.
$10 for all three is an ecceptable price for great protection for the B2 grills
