I have a SoundDock Portable and I have an Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter purchased from the Apple store. It connects my iPhones that have lightning ports, charges them, plays music but doesn't allow me to use the SoundDock remote control to play, pause, skip, etc.
In my online research I came across something that indicated that I need a 30-pin to 30-pin adapter that does something to fix a change that Bose made to the circuitry in the 30-pin jack in the SoundDock. Any ideas if this is true or not? Or do I just have a bad adapter?
