QC earbuds reporting battery low unexpectedly

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

About once a week now the earbuds report low battery within minutes or turning them on from having been on charge in the case all day. The app says they’re anywhere from 80-100%. They shutdown shortly after.

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

Not applicable

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

It probably started a few months ago and is increasing in frequency. They are about 10 months old now. They were fine before. 

Any troubleshooting steps you took


I tried the reset process but it didn’t stop it for long.


ive updated the firmware to the latest within the last week and it’s happening as is write this.
