Cinemate Connection

Hi,

I own a Cinemate system now for a few years and love it. I've recently bought a new smart tv and it doesn't have rca type Jacks to plug in the remote module.  Does anyone have a solution that works? I've tried the little rca to hdmi modules on Amazon and have had no luck.

Oddly enough the same solutions I wrote about in this guide about how to use for RCA based Lifestyle CD systems with modern HDTV's would work well for you. Though I have not looked into what audio formats your system supports.

OMG!  Don’t use a power surge protector.  Reading again how everyone was using this conversion pushed me once again to keep trying and my apologies in advance, it was my fault.  The power to the converter was not fully getting through and now it works!  YAY! YAY! YAY!  I’ve had multiple receivers for my entire childhood, let alone adult life but alas, somehow I have none right this moment and had to succumb to this stupid Bose Red White cable jonx.  Anyway, if anyone has an issue, make sure you are getting enough power or it will never work.
