If the Samsung tv supports the Bluetooth AVRCP profile the Bose Soundwear Companion should work.  Do not know about all Samsung TVs, but at least the QN55Q65FN QLED TV does not support the profile, as a consequence of which the BSC volume buttons are non-functional.  A speaker without volume control to me falls short of the mark.

I confirm it does NOT work with a Samsung 65Q7F: maximum volume is very low making it completely useless.
