Recording with a T4S - S1Pro and a MAC

Connected the above with a wired Microphone. Playback is fine. Need help with best practice to record on the connected MAC. 

On another note, how do you connect to Facebook Live and record without going live. Any help - most appreciated.

Hi pghadia,

Welcome to the forum, thanks for joining us! To use the T4S as an audio interface on your Mac:
 

1. Connect your T4S to your computer using a USB-A to USB-B cable (this will connect to the T4S in the input labelled '2' in the picture below):
   
   
    
2. Open 'Audio MIDI Setup' on your Mac - the T4S should appear as a listed audio device.
    
3. Right-click on the T4S in the list, and select "Use This Device For Sound Input".

When opening Facebook after following these steps, the T4S should be set as the audio source for Facebook Live.

Regarding audio recording without going live: are you using a different program/DAW to record the audio?

Thanks Dylan, will try the steps.

Regards recording, have not explored DAW as a software. Wondering if "Garage Band" installed on a MAC will do the job?

Hey,

Garageband is suitable for recording audio - you'll be able to set the T4S as the Input Device under 'Preferences' > 'Audio/MIDI' settings.
