2 L1 compacts and Bose sub 1

Looking to connect 2 l1 compacts with Bose sub 1 from a mixer. Some posts suggest going from mixer to L1  compact to sub 1. This does work: however it does not relieve the L1 compacts low end burden as there are no crossovers in the compacts. So the bass guitar and drums are driving the compacts too much. However: what are the issues with going mixer to sub 1 to L1 compact????

Hello markorostin, 

I would suggest Mixer > Sub1 > L1 Compact, as the Sub1 has an audio output with a HPF.
