I have a SoundDock that is 14 years old. It just stopped working. The phone is connecting but no music comes out of the speakers. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm very sorry to hear you are having issues with your SoundDock.
Can you please confirm:
1. When you say the phone is connecting, is it charging?
2. Are you using a smartphone that features the 30 pin connector, or are you using a newer iPhone that features a lightning port, so an adapter is being used?
3. Have you checked the power cable to ensure it is connected to the system the correct way round? If it is inserted in the wrong orientation, you may still get charge, but no audio from the speaker.
